We don’t know much about Creative Hubs – the places where creative businesses go to work. But we do know that they are important for our economies and our societies.

So at the European Creative Business Network, we are asking all our members (220 Hubs across Europe)to give us more details about the companies they work with, their business models, and what difference they make.

If you run or work for a Hub, take the short survey here.

With this info, we can make the case to funders to work out some programmes that are more easily accessible to Hubs.

And we are working with the British Council and ADDICT on the next stage of their Creative Hubs Forum. This is a place for Creative Hubs in Europe to meet, talk and exchange ideas.

Of course, we do know some things about Hubs. We know that we love them.

Who wouldn’t love the entrance to ECBN offices in Schieblock (Rotterdam)?

Or the view of the courtyard patio at the Workspace Group’s Clerkenwell Workshops (London)?

Betahaus’ sleek and sunny work area (Berlin)?

Or FACT Liverpool’s outdoor projection screen?

But great architecture isn’t enough. That’s why the Creative Hub Forum is becoming a place for Creative Hubs in Europe to meet, talk and exchange ideas. Here is what happened in year one.
