The European Creative Industries Summit held by ECBN in Brussels on May 11th 2015 brought together organizations from more than 15 European countries and saw speeches by Tibor Navracsics, the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport and Prof. Dieter Gorny, Special Advisor for Creative and Digital Economy to the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy and Managing Director of the european centre for crative economy (ecce).

Experts like Axel Ganz, Prof. Lutz Engelke, Janjaap Ruijssenaars, Francoise Le Crom, Johanna van Antwerpen, Caroline Norbury and Bernd Fesel discussed the future role of the creative entrepreneur in Europe. While representatives of the English and Irish Arts Councils and Funda Celikel Esser of the Joint Research Centre presented their work on spillover effects.

Last but not least this summit brought with it the ECBN Manifesto 2015, that was shared and signed by plenty cultural and creative organizations in Europe.
