Project Description
Materahub is working to promote Creative and Cultural Industries as engine for local sustainable development. Being based in Matera, UNESCO site since 1993 and European Capital of Culture for 2019, the aim of Materahub has been, since its foundation, to enhance a process of capacity building in order to support the cultural and creative sector on the following areas:
– sustainability, entrepreneurship and business modelling
– management
– internationalization, access to European and international networks
– cross-fertilization with other sectors of society and economy
– co-design of policies
Materahub is today one of the most active intermediary organisations in Europe supporting the Creative and Cultural sector. Thanks to the work of the last 8 years, the team of Materahub ha supported thousands of European entrepreneurs and organisations in the CCI sector, public authorities, research institutions, business incubators and supporting structures through local, national and European initiatives.
