Central Denmark Region and Aarhus 2017 wants to put growth through creative industries on the national agenda. Therefore, they hold the second annual conference A More Creative Denmark. This year the conference is held at the Danish Parliament, Christiansborg.
The conference A More Creative Denmark features presentations by national and international experts and the conference is aimed at politicians, leaders and decision makers in municipalities, regions and ministries et al. and partly also for business leaders from creative and wider industries.

Here are some of the keynote speakers, you can meet at A More Creative Denmark:

  • John Newbigin. John Newbigin is Chair of Creative England, a national agency that invests in and supports creative ideas, talent and businesses in film, TV, games and digital media.
    As Special Advisor to the Minister for Culture, Rt Hon Chris Smith MP, he was closely involved in developing the UK government’s first policies for the creative industries. As a policy advisor to the Leader of the UK Labour Party and Leader of the Opposition, Rt Hon Neil Kinnock, MP, he had responsibility for environmental and cultural issues, amongst others.
  • Ida Auken. Ida Auken has a MA in theology from the University of Copenhagen from 2006. She is a member of the Danish Parliament for The Social Liberal Party and manages no less than eight spokeswomanships including on trade and industry. She is also a member of The Business, Growth and Export Committee and The Cultural Affairs Committee.
  • Brandon Jones. Brandon Jones works as Cloud Technical Executive at one of the world’s leading technology companies, IBM. At the conference, Brandon reveals how IBM uses creatives in their internal innovation processes and business development.
