Arts and Culture Return-to-Business Guidelines

The Victorian Government has developed tailored guidelines for museums, galleries, libraries and performance venues outlining the actions to be taken to safely reopen and operate in the current climate. These include guidance on areas including hygiene and cleaning, physical distancing, front of house, back of house and staff. Developed in collaboration with peak bodies, key organisations and state-owned cultural agencies, the guidelines seek to cover all aspects of operations, accounting for organisations of different sizes and types. They have been prepared in consultation with the Victorian Chief Health Officer and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to align with the gradual easing of restrictions. Accompanying the guidelines are a number of checklists and templates for organisations to use.
